E3: Wii Motion Plus & Wii Speak

E3 2008 kicked off on Monday (July 14) with Nintendo's announcement of a new Wii Console accessory, called Wii Motion Plus: an add-on for the Wii Remote that increases response, sensitivity and accuracy. Another new accessory, a microphone for the Nintendo Wii, called Wii Speak, was also shown & will be packaged with a special edition of Animal Crossing: City Folk, due by the end of this year

Wii Music, a party game which simulates the playing of various musical instruments, and Shaun White Snowboarding, which makes good use of the Nintendo Wii Balance Board, were also demo'ed
