Last week, at Gamescom in Germany, Nintendo revealed a newly configured Wii Console. The new Nintendo Wii is exactly the same size as the older model of the console, but backwards compatibility with GameCube games and controllers has been removed to lower production costs. New Sony PSP E1000 Console

Sony announced a new model of the PlayStation Portable today at gamescom: the Sony PSP E1000. The new PSP console has the same size screen as the PSP 3000 and is backwards compatible with all PSP Games and Movies. It has a matte black finish that matches the Sony PlayStation 3 Slim Console. This new & cheaper version of the PSP does not include Wi-Fi and has just one built-in speaker. Sony PSP E1000 will be priced at only £89.99

Microsoft and LucasArts revealed a limited edition XBOX 360 Star Wars Kinect Console at Comic-Con today. The Star Wars themed XBOX 360 Console has a 320GB hard drive and the design is inspired by the droids R2-D2 and C-3PO: with an exclusive white and blue R2-D2 console, golden wireless C-3PO controller, and a unique white Kinect sensor. The console has customized R2-D2 sound effects for Power ON and Tray Eject. This limited edition XBOX 360 Console also includes the Star Wars Kinect game, a communication headset, exclusive downloadable content, and the Kinect Adventures game. The console is due for released at the same time as the Star Wars Kinect game: "Holiday 2011". The retail price for the 320GB console is £349.99

Nintendo 3DS Console Revealed

At Nintendo's E3 2010 Press Conference today, the new Nintendo 3DS console has been revealed. The 3DS does not require glasses: the console's screen presents in 3D to the naked eye. Top screen of the Nintendo 3DS console is a 3.5 inch widescreen 3D display. You can adjust the screen's 3D effects with a "3D depth slider". The 3DS console has improved graphics with a much higher resolution screen. New control mechanisms use internal motion-sensors. Nintendo say the 3DS will also play 3D video. And, stereoscopic camera lenses on the Nintendo 3DS will enable you to take 3D digital pictures. The climax of Microsoft's E3 2010 Press Conference today saw a new Slim 250GB version of the XBOX 360 being revealed. This sleek, smaller model of the XBOX 360 Console has a glossy black finish, 250GB hard drive, built-in Wi-Fi (802.11n), a dedicated port for Kinect, and promises "a whisper quiet fan".
