At Nintendo's E3 2010 Press Conference today, the new Nintendo 3DS console has been revealed. The 3DS does not require glasses: the console's screen presents in 3D to the naked eye. Top screen of the Nintendo 3DS console is a 3.5 inch widescreen 3D display. You can adjust the screen's 3D effects with a "3D depth slider". The 3DS console has improved graphics with a much higher resolution screen. New control mechanisms use internal motion-sensors. Nintendo say the 3DS will also play 3D video. And, stereoscopic camera lenses on the Nintendo 3DS will enable you to take 3D digital pictures. Games previewed for the new 3DS included: Nintendogs and Cats, Professor Layton, Assassin's Creed, Resident Evil, Metal Gear Solid, Star Fox, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time & Mario Kart

The climax of Microsoft's E3 2010 Press Conference today saw a new Slim 250GB version of the XBOX 360 being revealed. This sleek, smaller model of the XBOX 360 Console has a glossy black finish, 250GB hard drive, built-in Wi-Fi (802.11n), a dedicated port for Kinect, and promises "a whisper quiet fan". The Microsoft XBOX 360 Slim 250GB Console package, which includes a XBOX 360 Wireless Controller and XBOX 360 Live Headset, will be available on 16th of July, with a recommended retail price of £199.99
