PlayStation 3 250GB Slim Console
Sony's Keynote Speech at the Tokyo Game Show today opened with some PS3 sales figures: the new PlayStation 3 120GB Slim Console has already sold over 1 million units worldwide since its launch three weeks ago on the 1st of September. And, a new PS3 Slim Console was announced, with exactly the same hardware specifications as the current model, but with a 250GB Hard Drive, due to be released early next month! (This is obviously Sony's response to Microsoft's recently revealed XBOX 360 Super Elite 250GB Console.) The new PlayStation 3 250GB Slim Console will be bundled with a wireless DualShock 3 controller and a PS3 game, retailing at £284.99

XBOX 360 Super Elite 250GB Console
Details of the new 250GB model of the XBOX 360, to be sold in the UK and Europe with accessories and Forza Motorsport 3 game, were leaked by retailers late last month, and have been officially confirmed by Microsoft today. The Limited Edition XBOX 360 Super Elite 250GB Console goes on sale the same day Forza 3 is released: the 23rd of October. The Microsoft XBOX 360 Super Elite Bundle includes a black XBOX 360 Console with a 250GB Hard Drive, two XBOX 360 Wireless Controllers, XBOX 360 Live Headset and a copy of Forza Motorsport 3, with a RRP of £249.99 (same price as the new PS3 Slim)
The USA version of the XBOX 360 Super Elite 250GB Console comes with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 instead of Forza Motorsport 3
