Sony: Tokyo Game Show 2007

At the Tokyo Game Show today, Sony Computer Entertainment Chief Executive, Kazuo Hirai, had some good & bad news for PlayStation 3 owners. The bad news is the virtual reality community Home has had it's launch pushed back from October to "Spring 2008". (See Home - PlayStation 3's Virtual World.) Hirai explained the delay: "We aim to launch this as something that can meet expectations of people all over the world." The good news: Sony are to release a new force-feedback "rumble" controller for the PlayStation 3, the DualShock 3 - available in Japan in November, next spring for North America & Europe. Sony also announced it has acquired British software developers Evolution Studios, creators of the bestselling game MotorStorm
